Reading Habits Book Tag

So, this is my first ever book tag! I will be honest, I stole this one from the lovely Stuck In The Book, be sure to give her a follow! Her content is regular, fun and interesting. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I had taking part!

Question 1: Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

If I am honest with you, I kind of read anywhere and everywhere! Although I do love reading in bed the most, as I’ve recently brought some new copper fairy lights and wrapped them around the bedframe! It gives a lovely light in an evening too which is good. As well as my bed I do also read either in the bath or on my sofa!

Question 2: Bookmark or Dog-Ear?

It’s most definitely got to be bookmarks! I have a lovely little collection of bookmarks, mostly from my favourite fandoms (Harry Potter or Alice in Wonderland). I’ve attached a few images below of my favourite/recently purchased bookmarks! – Where possible I will also list the links of the shops I purchased them from!

Question 3: Can you stop in the middle of a chapter or does it have to be at the end of a chapter?

Always at the end of a chapter! Sometimes if I’m out and don’t have a bookmark with me I tend to remember which chapter I finished on. I also feel as though if you stop half way through a chapter it can take away from any of the anticipation that’s included in that specific chapter.

Question 4: Do you eat or drink whilst reading?

Of course! I love a snack whilst reading, although recently there’s been no snacks because of my diet, so that makes me sad. And I always have to have a drink with me when I read, as I tempt to read for long periods of time, so its more of a necessity for me.

Question 5: Do you listen to music or watch TV whilst reading?

Absolutely not. I’m someone who can’t read amidst a lot of noise, so I mostly read in silence, which I much prefer. Also in silence I read a lot more quicker!

Question 6: Do you read one book at a time or multiple?

I really don’t know how people read multiple books, but hats off to those that do! I only ever have the right mind space to read one book at a time. I wish I could be someone who could read three or four books at a time, but I just don’t think for me it would be physically possible!

Question 7: Do you read at home or anywhere?

I kind of mentioned this in the first question, but I read absolutely anywhere and everywhere! At home, in the car, in the garden, in a book or coffee shop, university… The list goes on. There isn’t a particular area that I read better than somewhere else, as long as that area is peaceful!

Question 8: Do you read aloud or in your head?

I always read in my head, I find reading aloud I lose train of thought quite easily. The only time I tend to read aloud is if I’m reading with my little brother who’s only 10.

I can’t think of any other habits or traits that I have whilst reading, so thank you for reading my first book tag! It really was a lot of fun to do!
